CUSTOM LEAN SYSTEMS
Helping organizations learn how to improve
Who I am
My name is Eduardo Lander and I do Lean and Kata.

I first became interested in Lean at Cornell University in 1993 and have been studying it ever since. As a plant manager, learning from books and through trial and error; as a Doctor of Engineering student under Jeff Liker at the University of Michigan; from inside Toyota, working in the Chief Engineer function at Toyota Motor Europe; and as a consultant, mostly working with organizations dealing with high variability.

At the University of Michigan I was also fortunate to meet Mike Rother. Since 2013 I've been using his Toyota Kata to help people develop scientific thinking as they improve their processes.

I am the founder of Custom Lean Systems and a founding partner of Dobilo.
